Reading this great new book with some interesting thoughtsb on editing and and the nature of the audience. Well worth a read.

Looking forward to managing Tim Kyle and Michelle Dooley at Pumphouse, it's the first time the department has had three permanent members of staff - happy days!!
10/09/10 - Back from hols
Just got back from a relaxing break with the family at Center Parcs. No laptop, no work or contact with the outside world (well until the last day!), just quality family time, perfect.
26/07/10 - Learning ajax
I never really set out to learn any web programming but after getting to grips with php, javascrpt and jquery now it seems I have been drawn in to learning some basic Ajax.
22/05/10 - No more result directing.
I've read that directing actors is all about encouraging them to feel their character from tne inside out-not worrying about how they come across from the outside. I tried out this idea by writing down action verbs to use as direction and not 'result directing'. It makes sense but it's hard as you have to constantly think about if your putting ideas into the actors mind.
